WE HAVE BEEN AWARDED BACHMANN RETAILER OF THE YEAR
The girls, feeling very emotional, would like to say a very big thank you to all their loyal staff, customers, volunteers, Bachmann Rep Tony, children, shoe shop, chocolate counter at the supermarket (big buttons!), outsize clothes store, bank manager, and how could we have forgotten the Fat Controller! and last but not least their dogs Teddy, Mo and Babie without whom this award would not have been possible.
In this wonderful hobby the girls would like to think that they offer a somewhat different slant on model railways and a unique approach to customer service. In response to the question asked by Bachmann, when presenting the award to the girls, “What do you think you offer that makes your shop such a success?” The girls reply was “boobies” as ever a thoughtful and serious response. Nothing changes them – not even fame.
