VALLANCE OF SIDMOUTH 9FT WHEELBASE OPEN WAGON VALLANCE of Sidmouth. This looks like a coal merchants wagon but it is not! Model based on the manufacturer's photograph with the fleet number being the same as the year of manufacture. Vallance was the town's brewer and the wagon would have been used to bring coal (and possibly other supplies) into the brewery. The firm was the victim of amalgamation and was taken over by Devenish of Weymouth, who are now defunct.
